About

I was born in Kansas City, MO to a single mother who has been my rock and inspiration in politics for as long as I can remember (as evidenced by my Christmas photos from 2000 being ambushed by a Gore Lieberman sign).

At the age of 7, I moved to St. Louis settling in Kirkwood where I went to Kirkwood High School through graduation. While in high school I partook in many activities including the Kirkwood High School Young Democrats where I was the only Freshman in an organization full of Seniors until all of the other members graduated and naturally the organization was disbanded. I was also one of two commencement speakers for the Class of 2015.

In the Fall of 2015, I started my college career at the University of Missouri - St. Louis studying Civil Engineering and Spanish where I was afforded many opportunities. My original plan was to attend the Missouri University of Science & Technology but I am thankful for staying local and being able to stay connected to my community.

I worked on campus for 3 years for the University Program Board where I got to plan events that brought acts like Trevor Noah, Leslie Jones, and Marlon Wayans to campus. I studied abroad twice in Costa Rica. I was also named UMSL Homecoming Royalty in 2019, the first year the competition was changed from Queen and King to 2 Royalty winners in order to be more inclusive.

2016 was the first time I was able to vote and I was super excited! My first election ever that I was eligible to vote in was the Presidential Primary.

In the Summer of 2016, I joined a racial justice organization in West County. I began to make public statements at local school board meetings in the St. Louis region to support students when they were victims of racial discrimination. In 2018, I was elected as a Leadership Team Member of the organization where I served two terms.
I currently serve as the Vice Chair of the Venable Park Task Force for the City of Creve Coeur. I was also recently elected to be a Bernie Sanders Delegate for the Missouri Democratic Convention.

I am excited to bring my experience as a community organizer to the St. Louis County Democratic Central Committee. I am looking forward to engaging as many people in the community as possible to ensure their input is valued in our County Party.
